My question is this. I want your advise on which of your finishes is best suited for the inside of my newly applied white cedar walls in my gazebo. I have a hot tub in the gazebo so the walls do get wet when the tub is running. I want to keep the walls clear and white as they are now. I have the number of your dealer in Green Bay and will call them after I hear from you.

Thanks,

Joe, How wet is wet? Is the area ventilated? For your situation I would normally recommend 4 coats of our water-based PolySeal interior polyurethane varnish, Crystal Satin or Gloss (or 2 coats of TranSeal Traditional). However, if there is a lot of direct water contact and the wetted areas do not get wiped reasonably dry, there could be some problems with eventual peeling of the coating in areas or even a blackening discoloration caused by mildew. It just depends on the environment. Occasional wetting of the PolySeal surface normally isn't a problem. Constant wetting of the surface over a period of time will eventually degrade the coating in those areas subjected to the water.
