The Continental Products Company is the oldest manufacturer and supplier of specialty coatings and glazing sealants to the Commercial Greenhouse Industry. Over the years, the materials used for Greenhouse structures have changed. Consequently, the specialized paints, coatings, preservatives, and glazing compounds supplied by Continental for use on wood/glass and metal greenhouses have diminished. Nonetheless, there are still older commercial greenhouses in production today that continue to use Continental's greenhouse maintenance products to protect and maintain the integrity of their structure.

In addition to maintenance coatings and glazing compounds, Continental is the leading manufacturer of a liquid shade product known as KOOL RAY LIQUID SHADE. KOOL RAY is the first liquid greenhouse shading compound ever developed. It is normally spray applied over the roof of the greenhouse and is specifically designed to lower the inside greenhouse temperature during the warmer spring and summer growing seasons. KOOL RAY'S non-hazardous ingredients slowly wear off during the course of the year allowing for increased light levels as the daylight shortens. And now, for 2002, KOOL RAY has changed to KOOL RAY ULTRA. ULTRA because it is even more concentrated than before. In fact it is almost twice as concentrated as our original KOOL RAY. Even though we have almost doubled its strength, ULTRA is NOT double the price. In fact, the savings are considerable. Original KOOL RAY has always been an economical and very effective tool for controlling heat build up in the warmer growing seasons. Now, with KOOL RAY ULTRA, it is even a better value!
